We’re looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful WordPress developer passionate about working on both the front-end and back-end. We’re looking for a person that can squeeze the most out of the platform, with strong engineering fundamentals, experienced predominantly with PHP, but also React.

What you’ll do
Work in a boutique agile team in a dynamic, startup environment.
Plan, build, test and release new features in WordPress, and occasionally beyond.
Write standards-compliant code, take part in code reviews and provide ad-hoc assistance to colleagues and clients.
Collaborate with other team members on matters related to design, marketing, sales and business development to delight our customers.
Identify and build improvements to our processes and systems.
Attend in-person workshops with our clients that are an integral part of our unique website-building process.
Who you are
2+ years of experience working on full-stack WordPress development.
Knowledge of agile principles and working in the agile spirit.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Bitbucket, NPM, Composer, AWS or another public cloud.
Experience in working with Visual Studio Code.
Familiarity with the latest WordPress coding standards along with the best headless practices.
Advanced command of HTML, SASS, and vanilla JavaScript.
Ability to collaborate with Web Designers to deliver pixel-perfect implementations.
Familiarity with building WordPress themes based on (atomic) design systems.
A pragmatic engineer who actively avoids over-engineering of solutions and understands how to maintain high-quality (clean) code in a value-focused environment.

Compensation range
The compensation range depends on the candidate’s profile but most likely will fall between £30,000 and £50,000 annually. The specifics of the offer will be determined based on relative experience, skills, and equity across the team.
